on wendesday we had ATHLETICS DAY we did relays ,shot put ,dicuss ,sprints,long jump and high jump we all had a go and we all did good my favrite was relays with miss hamlin and I also liked long jump I also got to help the joniors with there Athletics I did it with tarli we helped mr morgan with running we had lots of fun

summary

This is a story about new zealand’s sea life but it is not
in the water it’s on the shore people. think everything that's on
the beach live in the water but crabs ,shells ,rocks ,dry seaweed
and starfish but there on the wet rocks but it is still on the shore.

Facts

1. The red crab is another crab that likes to be alone
2. Shells are  different they there colours shapes and sizes
3. Seaweeds called zigzag weed and flapjack weed
4. There are shells called dog cockle
5. There are a lot of seagulls but there not just white
6. There are alot of things on the shore

In the garden

This is a story about new zealand's amazing gardens , insects
and native animals . They live in logs , bushes ,trees and more
nibbling on grass or collecting honey.

Some come out at night and some come out in day and they
all have there little things they do every day or just a little bit
but they live there eat there and do there things.

There are little things they do that make a big big difference

Facts I learnt

Fantails are insect eaters and their tails make them have fast
movements.

Tui eat nectar from flowers and  they also eat insects and fruit .
tuis can make songs phones and alarms sound the same.
(they’re copycats)

Snail are slow movers they take minutes just to walk 10cm of a
pathway.

Worms have no bones but they do have muscles in their body
so they can move.

Ladybirds can be red ,yellow or orange and they do have spots
on their body.

Caterpillar hatch out of their eggs. They eat and eat until they
are ready to grow up.

Bumblebee smaller groups than honey bees  they make their
nests in holes.

Silvereyes eat fruit as well as insects

Skinks like warm and hot areasand like to lye down on rocks

Honey Bees collect honey in special bags on their legs to
take back to their hive

the noise

Slouch  mud splashed over my foot .russel i caught the ball,but
the noise made me

wonder and I got tackled.
i went to the sideline and heard a echo and went to the bush .
i heard a crack. Aaaahhh i saw a duck and
a bunny but the bunny was stuck in the fence whining it heart out.
I quickly got him out and ran to the green lashas grass field.
The wavy wind brasher across my feet giving me the chills.
When kids shouted at me to get the ball I got it “yes” I got a try.

on the 6th july our lunch room closed.our PTA are brainstorming ways that we can provide alternative lunch options for our school community a few times a term. some of the tuakana syndicate have been asked to host a food tasting in week 7. we want you to produce food that parents would be willing to spend money on and kids want to eat.

My highlight with ms Shaw was seeing here every friday I would think of it as friyay this is because she makes thing fun and she is always happy.

My challenging moment with ms Shaw is here leaving to go to room 14 because she is one of my favourite teachers because she is helpful and kind to everyone.

PROUD MOMENT
My proud moment is with ms Shaw is having her as my teacher because she the best like miss Hamlin.

My goal with ms Shaw is to make her feel happy and to make her feel proud because she is great.

How to care for a pet

 

Goal: to come home and your dog is ok and healthy

What you need:water bowl /food bowl, bed, toys,cage,brush
,treats,walk,bath

Step.1 get ronnie my dog out of the cage and get his toys out
so he is entertained.

Step.2 get some treats out and say he’s a good boy.
Then feed him
his dog biscuits and some cold water.

Step.3 walk ronnie for an
hour or half an hour and then get
his bed out the let him go to sleep and put the bed in the
corner of the room.

Step.4 put him in the bath and wash him with the
dog soup and then try him with a toll and groom him
with his brush.

this is how you care for a dog when you are away

My highlight of this week was playing the line activity because the girls won all of the rounds.

My challenging moment of this week is hearing that ms Shaw is going to have a break I'm sad because she is one of my favourite teacher.

My proud moment is getting over 150 point on class dojo because I got free time

The highlight of my week was doing the stars in the matariki art

I found it difficult when we we did the kite
because it was hard to do the knotes

It was helpful when I could get my own novel
because now I can get a heed

The highlight of my week was doing narratives because I'm excited to write a story.

I found it difficult when I had a cold because it is not nice cold for 7  days.
