NZRDA HORSE RIDING

horse riding

last weekend I went to the nzrda and did horse riding because they had a open day I rode timon he is a very nice horse. Basically the nzrda is a horse riding for the disabled there are lots of different horses and ponies there and it is a really nice club my mum knows a workers mum there and her name is natalie she is very nice and she is a trainer and a ridder.

this is comet he is the smallest horse in his herd and very sweet and he is a pony

Timon

this is timon I rode this horse and he is the biggest horse in the herd he has lots of friends and is a very relaxed horse

this is eclipse he is a lovely horse and very relaxed and chill and is a pony

this is rusty he is a very nice horse and probably my favourite

this is misty .misty is very cheeky horse she loves food and her friend is timon

prize giving

PRIZE GIVING  

At the end of they year we have the senior prize giving for the year 6 and 5 but mainly year 6 because it's there last year at primary school. Prize giving is were some students get given different awards for different things and to celebrate the school year for the seniors .

THINGS WE DO AT PRIZE GIVING

At our prize givings we sing a song that we have practiced but the words in the song would  be different and of course prizes get given out parents and family can also come and see the prize giving.

PRIZE GIVING FOR ME

Prize giving for me this year is a bit different because I am leaving to go to christchurch and I will have to say goodbye to a lot of people and also its a time for us seniors to be acknowledged on what we have done this year the sports the learning the fun we have had with our friends teachers  classmates

silver ferns game

 SILVER  FERNS

On the 16th october me my friends Tarli and Amber are going to see the silver ferns game they are versing the Australian diamonds and so far they are on a winning streak I am so excited me and Amber are going with tarlis family ( her mum - her sisters ) we are going to be going home with tarli and then around 5:00 we will be on our way to the game.

INFORMATION

-The game starts at 6:30 and finishes at 7:30

-They are versing the Australian diamonds

-Wednesday 16th october

-At spark arena

-Games been at ( Christchurch -  Auckland )
- score ( 42 - 48  ) to australia

UPDATE

We had so much even though they did not win we had a great time we did other things that made the night even better we even went on a train and that was fun thanks for reading

Te Ura Art gallery

TE URU ART GALLERY

On tuesday 3rd september our class went to te uru art gallery first we split into 2 groups Ii was in the first group and we went in the morning and then the second group went after us we even got to go in minivans / vans and on the way back we got to put on music.

The art we were focusing on was by colleen mccain he did different art to other artist and he put text in most of his art is abstract we did our own pieces of art . We had to pick 3 words to base it on I picked 

Moana , sky and moody I think my favourite part about my painting was the sea because I made it look like there was waves.

The things we used to make it was pencil , paint , pastels and charcoal stuff. Last year we went there and we did art for matariki we did taniwhas and we used different equipments like this time

If you go to te uru art gallery check out the different arts there and maybe do some art to there are lots of things to do there and it is a very cool environment to learn art in .

Netball finals

NETBALL FINALS

This year we got into the netball finals we played every saturday
at te pai courts we vs all the different western schools and because we
got high scoring games we got into the finals we did not
win but we were catching up to them.

At the end of the year six games there was a prize giving
we got a medal and we got a block of chocolate we also will have a prize
giving at our school for all the teams at oratia you get a
citicate and maybe a trophy the people that were in
my team were me , Tarli , Amber , Poppy , Saskia , Ashita , Dylan , Juno ,
Margo and our coach we had a really good team and I think we
did really well.

Because some people in our team were away for the finals the
parents and the coach 

Decide to have a get together with our team and I think It
would be pretty fun especially with the team.
