LI: learning more about choir
This year I am in oratia choir and so far we have a had one trip which was at titirangi primary school also there are 2 choirs and there's choir A and choir B and oratia is in choir A there are 12 songs that we have to sing at the end of the year at the town hall and the year 6s have a chance to have a solo but I do not know if I want to do it but maybe I will . we have almost learnt half of all of the songs and also at the start of the year when choir started we got choir books and that has helped us with the songs and that is my choir story so far about choir.

The impact of this book catching falling stars

LI: I have finished my book and this is my one of my follow ups for it

Catching falling stars

I think if i would change this book it would probably be to add 2 pictures
and make it a bit more hooking at the end there was a great hooks. I would say
it could be a classic it has a good theme of what it is being wrote about and it is quiet
a good book but on the other hand I think is could have some more lightness if you
know what I mean it has meaning and thought and over all its good but some
people like it and some people do not but I think that it hooks you in and it really hooks

you in at the end.

novel study

Novel studies

this term we have our novel study and I am reading Catching falling stars and sad so far. But I am enjoying it we also have follow up tasks and I am not up to the part but I am getting there it is quite interesting it's about a girl and her brother and they go to the countryside to get away from the stuff happening in london but I will stop there I do not want to spoil it. There is alot going on in this book it hooks you in well it does for me and my other friend are up to a good bit and I want to get there to. There is 24 chapters and there long and I am almost there.

Apples update

APPLES UPDATES
this term we are starting apples and there is a shop that you can trade your apples in  and get a prize there is a point that you have to get if you want a prize 10 apples and I am going to work there with Tarli and the student leaders my teacher is helping with it and me and Tarli have to go every monday morning  and give them to the teachers of the school. It is open on thursday but I am at choir so I can not go every time me and tarli were going to be the managers but I have choir on thursday and that's the day the shop is open but I do still get to do it there is some cool stuff in there and you should save your apples up for some cool prizes.

It is the end of term 1

• this term has been a great start to 2019 and it has had lots of fun things going on and in term 2 there will be more cool and exciting things it will be a busy term but also fun there is camp and more things that are coming our way
